10 days later, a mother still waits at the head of a street for her 10-Y-0 son

Jormin Thomas, a 10-year-old boy from Shieldstown, West Coast Berbice was last seen on April 18 and his family is pleading for the public’s assistance to locate him.

Frustrated with the response from the Police, family members of Thomas reached out to the News Room on Saturday.  Thomas was last seen on the night of April 18, 2023, when he left his home to visit his stepfather.

CCTV footage shows the child headed to his stepfather and later returning to his mother, Carla Thomas, who was waiting for him at the head of the street.

But 10 days later, the woman is still waiting. Her son never reached her although he was seen on camera at about 22: 30 hrs the night in question, mere houses away from her.

Young Thomas was wearing a yellow t-shirt, boxers and gray boots. Anyone who may have seen Jormin Thomas is asked to call 682 4652 or the nearest Police Station.
