Gold miner remanded for murder that occurred two years ago

Keron David called ‘Chiney’, a 27-year-old gold miner of Falls Top, North West District in Region One, was charged on Tuesday with the murder of 22-year-old Royston Frank. Frank was killed between the 6th and 7th of November, 2021 at Big Creek Landing, Region One.

David appeared at the Port Kaituma Police Station before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus to answer the murder charge. The defendant was not required to plea and was remanded to prison.

David was arrested on June 15th, 2024, after being on the run since November 2021.
