In a strategic move that signals their serious intent, Team Japarts completed the acquisition of the championship-proven Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car from Jumbo Jet Racing.

The acquisition instantly positions the team as a formidable local force as Guyana prepares to welcome an elite fleet of the fastest racing machines from across Latin and Central America, with high-calibre contenders from Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz AMG, and McLaren all expected to grid up.

The development represents a massive milestone for Guyanese motorsport, offering a grand platform for Team Japarts to showcase local engineering prowess, passion, and competitive spirit on a truly international stage.

While anticipation builds around who will steer the newly acquired Porsche, team management has indicated that the official driver lineup will be revealed to the public in the coming days.

The Guyanese defence will be a multi-pronged assault, as Team Japarts joins a stellar local lineup that already features regional racing icon Kristian Jeffrey behind the wheel of the Radical RXC GT3, alongside veteran competitor Mark Vieira in the roaring Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
