The company was officially opened on Tuesday at the Transport and Harbour General Sports Club at Thomaslands, Georgetown.
Some of the services the company can provide include training to operate excavators, bulldozers and backhoe loaders, and they hope to soon offer training to handle cranes, telehandlers, and other industrial high-lift equipment.
“As a heavy equipment owner you want to ensure that you get the best out of that equipment. You want to ensure that your operators are skilled and they represent safety, represent your company well, preserving the equipment’s life and doing exactly what you need them to do – increasing efficiency and productivity,” John said.
The company will also work along with the government of Guyana through the Board of Industrial Training to provide persons who graduate from programmes with additional knowledge.
According to John, the key focus is to ensure that workers can operate machinery to the best of their abilities.
