Improved quality as $36M water system commissioned at Sandhill

Croal told the residents that the Hinterland regions will continue to benefit from several interventions coming out from funds catered for in the 2024 Budget.

This water supply facility was constructed by R. Kissoon Contracting Services.

It consist on a concrete intake pumping chamber at a creek source, the installation of 800 meters of 50mm PVC pipes, and 400 meters of 19mm PVC pipes with 20 service connections.

A concrete slab was also built and storage tanks were installed as part of the project.

The facility is powered by a photovoltaic pumping system.
