Sophia resident confesses to armed robbery at Soesdyke supermarket
Orlando Scott, 27, a construction worker of Lot ‘E’ Cummings Park, Sophia has confessed to the robbery under arms at the C&H Supermarket, Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara.
Police said on Saturday between 12:28 and 12:47 hrs, a video and audio interview was conducted with Scott during which he confessed.

Orlando Scott (Photo: Guyana Police Force)“At the Regional Division 4B Headquarters, Scott was informed of the allegations against him, cautioned in accordance with the Judge’s Rule, and subsequently confessed to committing the crime,” a police statement informed.
The robbery was committed on Yuan Qiao Lin, Ren Quan Zhang, Seeta Singh, and Jason Chetram. These individuals are reportedly the owners, a customer, and a security guard.
