Man arrested at Ogle Airport with over 2 pounds of ganja

A man was last Thursday arrested and taken into custody following the interception of a parcel of cannabis at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport at Ogle.

In a statement, the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) said its officers, acting on information received, intercepted the parcel which was destined for Kamarang, Region Seven.

“This led to the discovery of several bulky parcels containing a quantity of cannabis,” CANU said.

The suspect, Moses Ally, was escorted and taken to CANU headquarters along with narcotics, which weighed 1.08 kg (or about 2.38 pounds).

Investigations are ongoing.
