Before coming to a halt, the car ploughed through the trio and landed in a nearby drain. The injured adolescents were all taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital in an unconscious state and admitted in as critical patients. Khemraj succumbed to her injuries around 15:00hrs. The two others remain hospitalised. The driver, 20-year-old Navindra Narine, a businessman of Enmore Hope East was arrested.
