CPL 2026 group-stage tickets set to go on sale May 22; Visa cardholders get 48-hour early window

The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to open its digital box office this week, with tickets for the bulk of the 2026 group-stage matches going on general sale on Friday, May 22.

Fans looking to secure their spot at the ‘Biggest Party in Sport’ across venues in Antigua & Barbuda, Jamaica, St Kitts & Nevis, and Saint Lucia can purchase tickets online via the tournament’s official website.

However, those looking to jump the queue can do so early. In a nod to tournament partnerships, Visa cardholders have been granted an exclusive 48-hour priority access window starting Wednesday, May 20, allowing them first dibs on the best seats before the general public gets a look-in on Friday.

The ticketing rollout is already well underway in other parts of the region. Season passes for the Barbados Tridents’ home fixtures at the historic Kensington Oval are already active, offering local supporters a blanket pass for their team’s entire home leg.

Similarly, tickets are already live for the matches scheduled in St Vincent—a particularly historic leg for the tournament as the country prepares to host CPL action for the first time.

Meanwhile, organisers have confirmed that online ticket sales for the perennially packed fixtures in Trinidad & Tobago will launch in the coming weeks.

Now in its 13th year, the CPL has grown from a regional experiment into a global viewership juggernaut, pulling in a staggering 1.17 billion broadcast and digital viewers during the 2025 season.

The Trinbago Knight Riders will enter the tournament as defending champions, leading a competitive seven-team grid that also includes the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Kingsmen, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and Saint Lucia Kings.

The 2026 edition of the tournament is scheduled to run from August 7 to September 20, promising its trademark blend of high-octane T20 cricket and Carnival-style entertainment across the islands. (Modified CPL Press Release)
