World-class fleet management system ‘Geotab’ comes to Guyana

Launched at Moray House on Friday with a business-to-business mixer and presentations, Krystel Villalvazo, Geotab’s Partner Account Manager for the Caribbean and Central America, shared how Guyanese businesses, agencies and even the government can harness the power of Geotab’s offerings to push Guyana’s development.

Already used by the US Government and businesses worldwide, Villalvazo, an engineer by profession, shared why Geotab is such a valuable product,

“We are more than a GPS; we extract the data of the vehicle(s) to give you a better knowledge of how the drivers use those vehicles.”

This includes monitoring the behaviour and driving patterns of individual drivers to ensure the safety and security of your assets and cargo.

Geotab’s “management by measurement’ system allows the customer to not only accurately track the vehicle but offers many other solutions like engine monitoring, fuel consumption reports and accident detection.

Further, in line with Guyana’s Low Carbon Development Strategy, the system provides support for the largest set of Electric Vehicle (EV) models.

Designed to allow companies to manage all their mobile assets with one easy-to-use interface, GeoTrac through GISCAD Guyana offers a highly customizable platform to fit individual needs.

Villalvazo encourages Guyanese businesses and agencies to reach out to them to improve their safety and productivity.
