The continued upgrades are expected to offer increased viewing and comfort as Guyana is scheduled to host the entire finals week of CPL for two more years.
More so, there is also transformational work in the compound of the stadium to cater for football, volleyball, tennis, and basketball. The football field is being built on the northern side, and a volleyball pitch is adjacent to the tarmac.
A tennis court will be placed near or on the tarmac, as well as a basketball court.
