the murders of Johnson Bowen, 87, and Manuel Dos Santos, 58 widens, one of the two men who Police said was wanted in relation to the crime has surrendered while an accomplice who has found dead in a house in Linden has been identified.

Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum told the News Room on Wednesday that the dead bandit has been identified as Anthony Dennis.

And, days after a wanted bulletin was issued for him, Blanhum said Troy Bruce called “Blacka” turned himself into the Police on Tuesday.

Two persons, including Bruce, are currently in custody in relation to the double murder. It is suspected that the other suspect in custody aided in the planning of the crime.

Blanhum had previously told the News Room that a number of other persons, including principal offenders are currently being pursued.

Among those wanted is John Ross called “JR”. Police had issued wanted bulletins for him and Bruce on Monday.

According to Blanhum, investigators are currently seeking legal advice in the matter.

Bowen and Dos Santos, both of Block 22, Wismar, Linden were shot dead after they tried to fend off three masked gunmen, who invaded their home at around 04:00 hrs on Saturday. Two of the bandits were armed with guns.

At the weekend, two persons were arrested.

However, the News Room understands that one of the two suspects arrested was not involved in the murders.

Dennis was found dead in a house on Sunday where the two suspects were hiding in Linden. He was reportedly chopped several times by the victims during the home invasion.

It was then that the bandits shot at the victims, killing two of them and injuring 20-year-old Denzil Roberts who went over to the house to help his relatives.

The News Room understands that Roberts remains in a critical condition with three gunshot wounds.
