Buxton United, Police win latest KFC Elite League games

In the second game of the double-header, Police FC stamped their authority against Ann’s Grove FC, winning 2-0. Pernell Schultz sent the cops into the lead in the fourth minute from a penalty kick while Dorwin George sealed the issue in the 81^st minute with a timely strike.

Police were beaten 1-3 by Den Amstel FC in their opening encounter. Western Tigers lead Group B with three points from one game, while Police, Ann’s Grove and Den Amstel are locked on three points each from two matches. Victoria Kings are in the cellar position without a point.

The tournament continues Sunday with another double-header at Eve Leary and not Camp Ayanganna as was previously mentioned.

Santos will be in action again against Milerock in the opening match at 18:00h, while the feature game will see Western Tigers looking to advance their points tally when they face Victoria Kings at 20:00h.
