The house before it collapsed
She said her husband, Harri Kissoon, told her that the wooden house started “creaking” after there were heavy winds again that morning and as such, he alerted everyone, urging them to go outside.
While most persons made it to safety, the seven-year-old boy was pinned under the stairs inside the house. He was eventually rescued and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The two other children are staying with a neighbour but Faye-Wilson, her husband and brother have been staying in their yard, next to the collapsed structure. The family cannot afford to rebuild.
As such, Faye-Wilson is requesting any assistance that can be provided to her family. She can be contacted at: 687-8783.
