[Nation News] – A 51-year-old Guyanese man identified as Andell Mc Garrell fell to his death while working on a construction site Monday morning in Barbados.
Mc Garrell would have celebrated his 52nd birthday a month from today on May 09, 2024.
Police said the incident occurred at Apes Hill, St James about 8:20 hrs.
It was reported that two men fell from a 30-40 foot high scaffolding while doing construction work on a building located at lot C4 Apes Hill. The 51-year-old man, who is a resident of Barbados fell onto a piece of steel and was impaled. He died on the spot. The other worker, a 50-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
