Bartica man charged for drunk driving, discharging loaded firearm 

Gladwyn Tracey, a 42-year-old manager of Hart’s Suite located at First Avenue Bartica, was arrested by Police and faced two charges of discharging a loaded firearm and drunk driving.

The case was called at the Bartice Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Teriq Mohamed.

Tracey pleaded not guilty to the charge of discharging a loaded firearm; he was granted $60,000 bail and the matter was adjourned to March 13 for continuation.

He, however, pleaded guilty to the drunk driving charges and was fined $200,000.
