Agri. Minister rushed to hospital after Berbice accident

Minister of Agriculture Zulfikar Mustapha was on Sunday rushed to the hospital after he was involved in an accident in West Coast Berbice.

The Guyana Police Force (GPF), via a Facebook post, noted that the minister, his driver and a regional official are receiving medical attention following the accident.

Investigations are ongoing.

A video recording of the incident, shared by the Force, indicated that a car on the opposite side of a two-lane road drove into the lane the Agriculture Minister’s vehicle was driving in.

That caused the minister’s vehicle to swerve to the parapet.
