Dead: Calvin Nelson
Allicock is the boyfriend of a 22-year-old female cook of Tasserene Village, Middle Mazaruni River. The woman was previously in an intimate relationship with Nelson.
According to a Police report, the woman related that on August 4, she and Allicock went to Honey Camp Landing, where they consumed Guinness and became intoxicated.
At about 01:00hrs on August 05, they went to Clive Smith’s Shop and continued to drink Guinness.
While at the shop, Nelson approached her, and they had a conversation which caused the suspect to become annoyed.
This resulted in him grabbing and assaulting her; Nelson intervened and a scuffle ensued.
During the scuffle, Allicock stabbed Nelson with a knife twice.
Nelson escaped and went to a nearby shop where Neville Critchlow, a 65-year-old construction worker took him to Issano Health Post where he was pronounced dead.
